It's Friday, and not a moment too soon!

I found this "brain-eating amoeba" info in the newspaper. Apparently it just killed someone here in Arizona.

Naegleria infections tend to be found in southern states, but has been found almost everywhere in lakes, hot springs, even some swimming pools.

People who are infected tend to complain of a stiff neck, headaches and fevers, Beach said. In the later stages, they'll show signs of brain damage such as hallucinations and behavioral changes. Once infected, most people have little chance of survival, but people shouldn't panic about the dangers of brain-eating amoeba. After all you got to go sometime!

I was really pissed off to hear that none of the Democatic candidates would commit to getting all the troops out of Iraq during thier first term in office! What the Hell, 2011 is 5 years away! The U.S. fought WW2 for only 4 1/2 years! Is Iraq more important or a tougher conflict than WW2? We need to get some real candidates to run. The present ones are full of shit!

Maybe it's time to dispense with elections altogether and start over.

Maybe all the present politicians need to be made into an example of what happens when they don't listen to the people. I'm sure there's enough trees near the capital to display the whole legislative and executive branch of government "Mussolini style" (Click) to the next crop of future politicians! That would be a new style of "term limits"!

Curiouoso* is not suggesting "action" just an idea on how we might have to proceed in the future! I'm not suggesting that our politicians deserve this...Anyone with half a brain can readily decide for themselves if such a thing is neccessary! Like the Nike commercial says, "Just Do It!"
